In the months leading up to Baylee's birth, I wrestled with the idea of quitting my day job as a preschool teacher in order to stay home with Baylee. I love teaching and probably learned as much from the children as they have from me. That said, I believe I have been provided an opportunity through my photography to be able to stay home with my daughter and still contribute financially to my family. I returned to teaching for a month to finish out my contract and am now a full-time mom/part-time photographer. I took some time off over the summer to figure out this mom thing and am now ready to get to work.
