The Signs of Summer

After having a week of blistering heat, the temperatures finally dropped below 95 and I was able to spend some time outdoors. I love walking back in the field behind our house because there are so many small things that would normally go unnoticed but I deliberately look for when I have my camera.



And by the way, I don't actually walk through the field of weeds, just around the edge.

The love these parents have for their baby was so evident during this session. They couldn't stop smiling and he couldn't keep his hands off of her belly! It was so fun to watch them interact --all I had to do was push the shutter button on the camera. I can't wait to take pictures when their new family member arrives!

These two cuties are my adorable niece and nephew. She is used to me having my camera so she wasn't surprised when I got it out as we were waiting at the restaraunt and started snapping pictures. He's only 4 1/2 months old so he hasn't had time to get used to it yet but I don't think it's gonna be a problem.
